Estimate how many mobs of a category can exist at once in your farm's spawning area, using the vanilla mob cap formula.

Loaded, Spawnable Chunks

289 chunks = the default 17×17 chunk area around one player. Multiplayer caps scale per player, with overlapping areas counted once.

Mob Category

Estimated Mob Cap

This is the cap on simultaneously-loaded mobs of that category, not a spawns-per-hour figure - once a farm is at or above its cap, new mobs only spawn as old ones are killed, despawn, or leave the area.
